Ha. Just for fun I googled "i-phone". 849 million hits. Now that's buzz. I found your site by searching for “Iris videophone” — as of today you’re about 53rd out of 89,000. Not bad.

There’s certainly a dearth of reviews or critiques; as I commented in your ACN Part IV (VI?), most of the first hundred and twenty hits for “Iris videophone” were from tech-store sites selling the phone or from ACN reps.

My mum is apparently a rep. She started selling (?) these things a few months ago because she wanted to keep in touch with her relatives. I have no idea the specifics of her "conversion" but I dare say your observations are spot on! Unfortunately, she fits in the naive category and was sure this would be a great thing to keep in touch with me. She lives in Oregon and I'm in Australia. Surprisingly, Melbourne, actually! Anyway, I'm in IT, a natural skeptic and as soon as she'd told me what she'd purchased, I smelled something funny. Just thought I'd send you a quick note to say thanks for posting your findings and at the very least, giving me a bit of a chuckle that my feelings about this device and this company appear to be accurate.
