		<description>I don&#039;t think Media is owned by right-wing (in my opinion). At least not right-wing in the sense of US political dialog. I think they&#039;re mostly pragmatic, capitalist centrists.

I also don&#039;t buy argument number 2. I think the &quot;America is the bad guy&quot; ship has pretty much sailed. The withholding of prisoner torture images is about not making  a bad situation worse - what point would they serve? Everyone&#039;s aware they exist. It just gives extremists an image to wave around and say &quot;look what they do, now let&#039;s do it back! ... again!&quot;.

I get the feeling Obama&#039;s trying to calm the waters and change the tone of dialog. Pictures of torture don&#039;t help that. And they&#039;re not even newsworthy because we all know it happened.</description>
